Here are some wildflowers and weeds I saw on a summer morning walk in northern Arizona.
Sunflowers pop up all over the place each summer, they become more abundant once the monsoon season begins here in northern Arizona. They are widely distributed throughout North America, known as Common, Roadside, or Prairie Sunflowers.
Asters are star shaped wild flowers that are lilac with dark green leaves. They bloom from July to October. There are over 180 different species of asters, all but one are within Eurasia.
