Here are two different Lupine’s I saw on a recent walk here in northern Arizona. They are Silvery Lupine and Shortstem Lupine. Similar leaves, yet the height of the plant and the size of the flower clusters show the biggest differences.

Here are some photos from a recent hike, I was in a stretch of Ponderosa Pine forest in northern Arizona. The wildflowers are (clockwise): Tansy Ragwort, Western Blue Flag, Desert Paintbrush, and Silvery Lupine. BENEFITS OF HIKING
These wildflowers are a few I see in the forest area behind my home. There are many Ponderosa Pines as well as some mountain meadow areas.
