COLOR IN THE DESERT
Here are some photos from a recent walk in the high desert on the Colorado Plateau. There is so much color out there, it is very impressive! The wildflowers are (clockwise): Tidytip, Potts Prickly Pear, Globemallow, and Phlox.

Walked across these in northern Arizona at 6000 feet in elevation.
Here’s two Western Scrub Jay’s (Interior) I saw a while back, in the northern Arizona high desert. The area contained Gambel Oaks, as well as Pinyon and Juniper trees. Read more about them here…WESTERN SCRUB JAY
