COLOR IN THE DESERT
Here are some photos from a recent walk in the high desert on the Colorado Plateau. There is so much color out there, it is very impressive! The wildflowers are (clockwise): Tidytip, Potts Prickly Pear, Globemallow, and Phlox.

A WESTERN JAY
Here’s two Western Scrub Jay’s (Interior) I saw a while back, in the northern Arizona high desert. The area contained Gambel Oaks, as well as Pinyon and Juniper trees. Read more about them here…WESTERN SCRUB JAY
DESERT WALK
In the high desert in northern Arizona, I was walking in the afternoon just as the monsoon clouds were rolling in.
