I have to say Tracy that in the last few years with less and less diversity being seen by birders like me – I am still being overwhelmed by hundreds of finches that arrive every January and demolish all the seed and scare all my regulars away – so much imbalance – I’ve ended up being forced to bring my feeders in in order to get rid of these hoards – who literally take all the food.
