DEEP YELLOW EUCHLAENA

This is a Euchlaena Amoenaria or commonly called a Deep Yellow Euchlaena moth. They have yellow and brown shades of color and rest with their wings flat, giving the appearance of tree bark. A distinguishing mark on each hindwing is a tiny black dot in the center between brown lines. The host plants of the caterpillar are unknown. I found this one back in July in northern Arizona.
