WORLD WETLANDS DAY

This Sunday, February 2nd, is World Wetlands Day. It marks the date of the adoption of the Convention on Wetlands on February 2, 1971, on the shores of the Caspian Sea. It is a day to celebrate and raise awareness for all that wetlands have to offer. They provide ecosystems for fish, birds, bugs, and other wildlife, while maintaining water levels in various areas.
