Common Green Grasshoppers tend to be green all over with brown or yellow eyes, with a darkened region of their hindwing. They are widespread, found in grasslands, meadows, pastures, and woodland edges. They are known for the male song to attract females, it is long and loud. I saw this one some weeks back in northern Arizona.
