CHIPPING SPARROW

Chipping Sparrows are medium sized and slender with a rusty crown, black eyeline, long tail feathers. They hang out in loose groups, flitting on the ground looking for seeds. They can be found in open woodlands with fields, parks, and backyards. I found this one in a young Ponderosa Pine while out on a morning walk.CHIPPING SPARROW
