SHORTSTEM LUPINE

Shortstem Lupine are low growing wildflowers that are found in dry southwest areas with sagebrush, joshua trees, pinyon-juniper trees, or coniferous woodlands. The flowers are small with blue-purple tone and the leaves are palmate. I found these in a mountain meadow area in northern Arizona.
