BONAPARTE’S GULL

Bonaparte’s Gulls are distinct in their small size and black head during breeding season. White eye crescents, a thin black bill, and red legs are other characteristics for identification. They are found in many water areas in North America including rivers, lakes, marshes, beaches, and bays. I saw this Bonaparte’s Gull while walking on the Navajo Bridge in northern Arizona on the Colorado Plateau.BONAPARTE'S GULL
