RAVENS IN THE GRASS

Here are some Common Ravens hanging our together in the winter grass in northern Arizona. They are the largest bird in the crow family and have a distinct wedged tail, seen while in flight. Ravens are intelligent birds that can talk or mimic noises such as human words, car engines, animal sounds like frogs or other bird calls such as a red tail hawk.
