FEED THE BIRDS DAY

February 3rd is Feed the Birds Day. Help the birds in your backyard during the cold winter by feeding them seeds, thistle, millet, peanuts, suet, fruit, and water. The month of February is National Bird Feeding month, as well. Birds go to feeders in winter because their food sources are limited and in some places, covered with snow. I saw this Great-Tailed Grackle by a pile of seeds that someone put out in a local park. Learn more about this grackle here: GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE.
