This is my favorite photo from Black Friday, early morning light shining onto the San Francisco Peaks.
The San Francisco Peaks are a volcanic mountain range in northern Arizona. They are a remnant of the former San Francisco Mountain, an eroded stratovolcano. They are also part of the San Francisco Volcanic Field. The highest summit of the range is Humphreys Peak, standing at 12,633 feet, the highest peak in Arizona. Read more: EXTINCT VOLCANIC FIELD
