PINE SISKIN

The Pine Siskin are a small finch found throughout much of North America and known for their sporadic winter migration. The adults are streaky brown with yellow on their wings and tail, the tails are short and forked. Pine Siskin’s forage in trees, shrubs, and in weeds for seeds, plant parts, and some insects. Here is one among the wild sunflowers.
