THE COLORADO AT GC

Here is a partial glimpse of the Colorado River from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The Colorado River is 1450 miles long and flows through five U.S. states and two Mexican states. The river generally flows southwest across the Colorado Plateau to the Arizona/Nevada border where it turns south towards Mexico. It begins in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado through Utah, and along the border of Nevada/Arizona/California to Baja California and Sonora, Mexico.
