GOOD MORNING
No matter how often I see a Great Blue Heron, I never tire of seeing them. Here is one from a morning walk. It was flying overhead and then landed pretty close by.
We just watched two GBHs fly over the house as we were eating breakfast. You know it’s gonna be a good day when you have coffee with a Great Blue Heron!
Like you Tracy, I never tire of seeing these magnificent birds… all winter one stayed here by the river and now I think he’s gone north… but some mornings I would see him rise out of the river’s edge in the pre- dawn light… always I felt awe.
