AMERICAN WIGEON

The American Wigeon is a common bird throughout North America, they are generally north in the summer and south in winter. They have a distinct large white patch on their forewing that you can see when they fly. American Wigeon’s can be found near lakes, ponds, marshes, fields, and grass areas. They eat the stems and leafy parts of aquatic plants, as well as seeds on the ground.
