STRIPED SKUNK

Striped Skunks are found throughout most of North America. They have a distinct thin white stripe down the center of their face. They are primarily nocturnal. When threatened, this skunk will face its intruder, arch and elevate its tail, stomp the ground, and chatter its teeth, trying to make them retreat. If they do not, the skunk will raise its tail straight up, evert its anal nipples, and spray its oily, fetid musk 10-15 feet. I came across this one while walking, this skunk ignored me.STRIPED SKUNK-1
