Here are some Pygmy Nuthatches in a Ponderosa Pine tree. They are very small birds, found in flocks, usually among pine and fir trees. In my area I see them in the Ponderosa Pines, chattering a lot. I usually hear them before I see them.

I wish I could see this little guy better because I am not familiar with pygmy nuthatches. We have two around here but not that one. I love these small birds and their calls.

They are so small, you really got to look in the trees to see them.
