The Gambel’s Quail is a ground-dwelling quail found in desert regions in the southwest United States and Sonora, Mexico. They have unique bobbing topknots on both the male and female. These quails are more likely to run that fly. Gambel’s Quail eat seeds from desert grasses, shrubs, trees, and cactus, along with leaves and grass.

This is a neat photo Thank-You for sharing. 64yrs old & have never seen a Quail 😥
