The light has changed drastically in the past week or two. The nighttime temperatures have dropped significantly in this predominately Ponderosa Pine, high elevation habitat, where I live. Winds are beginning to blow the leaves off the various deciduous trees. There are a few flying insects still hanging around, while Abert’s squirrels scurry up and down the trees and across my path. Here are some photos from autumn walking in my neighborhood.
