ON THE ROADSIDE

Here are a few vibrant wildflowers next to a dirt road I was walking along. The colors this time of year are amazing!

The rocky mountain bee plant are a rich nectar source for bees, as well as other insects. They bloom in summer and autumn, along disturbed areas, as well as arid high desert regions.

The skyrocket flower is a hummingbird pollinated plant. Blooms from late spring to early fall, in arid regions such as slopes, canyons, mountains, or desert areas.
