Today is February 29, a leap year. What is a leap year? It is an extra day added to the calendar every four years. Why? The earth takes about 365. 24 days to orbit around the sun completely, so the extra day is added every four years, which equals four of the approximate quarter days. Thus making the earth and the internal clock of living beings in sync with the seasons. Here are a couple of pics I love from this past summer of some living beings…
