Trillium is a flowering plant native to temperate regions in North America and Asia, North America has around 30 different species. They are of the trillium family of the lily order of plants. Each flower has three petals, three sepals, six stamens, and they bloom above a cluster of leaves. The trillium is the official flower of Ontario, Canada. I took these colorful trillium photos while hiking in Oregon.
