Yesterday early morning, I went for a walk among the woods and field areas behind my home. I felt fortunate that someone made a trail and that I did not have to break too much snow. It was peaceful and nice to watch the sun rising higher into the sky. I was happy to be outdoors for reasons other than shoveling snow, as the winter temperatures and snow storms limit that exposure and create cabin fever for me. Cabin fever is defined as irritability or listlessness from being confined or isolated indoors during the winter. I know we technically we still have two more months of winter, so I will take any opportunity to be outside that I can until the snow stops and the warm temps some back, where I can once again be outside everyday for fun.

Looks like your squirrel friend was just as happy to see you 😉
