
It definitely feels like winter now, it’s been snowing in Northern Arizona for days and it is very pretty. What is snow? It is atmospheric precipitation that turns into ice crystals that were developed in clouds when the temperature is below freezing, (32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 degrees Celsius). Onced the ice crystal is formed, it absorbs additional water vapor from the surrounding air, becoming a snow crystal, which then falls in the form of flakes onto the Earth.
