BEING IN MY CHURCH

MORNING MOON
MORNING MOON

Happy Sunday. My church is what I call “being outside”. At this synagogue, all are welcome and the only requirement is your presence. These santuaries are everywhere and they are not affliliated with any religion. You may already have one that you go to…some of them look like the woods, your backyard, are on a lake or along the ocean shore. What’s great is that you can go anytime of day or night, whatever fits your life schedule. You can usually find one of these churches while traveling. You can go alone, with family or friends. You may even meet some other friends while you are there, like the bluebirds, squirrels, honeybees or your jackrabbit friends. Going to this church could possibly enrich your life in many ways. It can be a calming place. It may help you find yourself after a crazy work week. It can stimulate your senses or engage your brain. It could even help you find the deep soulful thoughts that you were looking for. BE WARNED! You may not want to leave. You might want to pull up a lawn chair or be prepared to walk with some sunscreen or a raincoat. You may want to bring layers of clothes, a lunch, and some water in your backpack. Find one of these churches, it could be the same place daily or a new one weekly. It could change your life immensely.

Here is some of what I saw this week in my santuaries…
